Patrick could be coming home this weekend! Or early next week!!
He was 4 lbs 10oz last night! He gained 3oz total.
He had an eye exam, and it was normal. He'll have a hearing test soon, and another brain ultrasound to check for any changes.
They told us to bring up a carseat to see if he'll fit!
He's up to 5 feedings a day, 42ccs each. He hasn't been finishing all of them, but since he's still gaining weight and finishing most of them, they're feeling pretty good about his progress.
We're getting carpet today too, so the house is ALMOST ready.
I can't even begin to describe how excited and scared I am. I don't know if there are enough exclaimation marks in the world.
I'm updating from work, so I should get back to my desk.

THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!
Jen that's so fantastic. But they know they have to come too, right? They can't just let you TAKE HIM. He needs a full staff of dcotors and nurses. It's what he's USED TO. It's the standard of living to which he has become accustomed. Yes, of course they know. Get the staff's rooms ready, too.
I remember when they let me take Josie home from the hospital I thought they were OUT OF THEIR MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Jen,
That's absolutely wonderful! I know you're scared, but you'll do just fine. I'll definitely be praying double-time for you all.
This is SO exciting! I haven't been online for awhile and look how far behind I am! We are always thinking of you and Patrick! After the first night at home you will wonder why he couldn't come home weeks ago! J/K, but really, you will forget the last months almost by the first night at home as a family is over! Take care! Kristen
Wooooo hoooo! How exciting for you all! What great news. And almost 5 pounds, too :)
That is such great news! It's crazy- you are going to have a baby at home! It's going to be wonderful!
Oh - I forgot to add. I got a flu shot today! I throwing that in for my bid as a babysitter whenever you guys are ready! I have a feeling I may have stiff competition...
